Product Description Of Sodium Acetate
Sodium acetate, also known as sodium acetate, generally exists in the form of sodium acetate trihydrate with three crystalline waters. It appears as colorless, transparent or white granular crystals and can be weathered and flammable in the air. Easy to dissolve in water, can be used as a buffer and mordant, for the determination of lead, copper, nickel, and iron, culture medium preparation, organic synthesis, film development, etc.

Application of the product
1. Used in the daily chemical industry as a synthetic detergent, in ceramic production as a gelling agent, as a dispersant for drilling mud, and as an anti oil stain agent in the paper industry.
2. Use as an external carbon source in the treatment of urban sewage. Using sodium acetate as a supplementary carbon source, domesticate the denitrifying sludge, and then use a buffer solution to control the increase in pH value during the denitrification process within a range of 0.5. Denitrifying bacteria can excessively adsorb sodium acetate, so when using sodium acetate as an external carbon source for denitrification, the effluent COD value can also be maintained at a low level.
The Dosing Method of Sodium Acetate in Water Treatment
1.According to the ratio of 1 kilogram of sodium acetate to 1.3 kilograms of water, the water dissolves quickly at a temperature of around 20 degrees Celsius, and the dissolution rate is slower below 10 degrees Celsius. The freezing point of 25% aqueous solution is about -10 degrees.
2.Adjusting the ph value of industrial sewage in the regulating tank, and settling the industrial sewage after adjusting the ph value in the settling tank;
3.The settled industrial wastewater is transported to a microbial culture tank for microbial oxidation treatment. During the transportation process, sodium acetate is added as a carbon source for microorganisms. The amount of sodium acetate added is 5 (Ne Ns)/0.68 per liter of wastewater. Ne wastewater is the current nitrogen content in the effluent, mg/l, Ns wastewater is the nitrogen content in the standard, mg/l, and 0.68 is the COD value of sodium acetate;
4. Stir for 5-10 minutes to allow the agent and wastewater to fully react (if the ammonia nitrogen value is high, the reaction time can be appropriately extended for better results).
5. Measure the residual ammonia nitrogen values in water separately.
6.On site use of chemical agents can be directly added to the reaction tank as a solid according to the amount of small-scale trials, or diluted into an aqueous solution before adding, stirring or aeration to fully react with the agent.
Other Notes
1. When storing industrial grade sodium acetate, attention should be paid to minimizing temperature changes in the warehouse and avoiding humid areas. Industrial grade sodium acetate is prone to clumping when in contact with water or other liquids, and should be stored in original packaging or sealed containers.
2.Under normal circumstances, industrial grade sodium acetate will not cause harm, but necessary measures should also be taken to avoid contact with human skin and eyes, causing accidental damage.
