Application scenarios of Silicone liquid defoamer
1. Desulfurization and defoaming in power plants
In the current wet flue gas desulfurization in thermal power plants, the washing of limestone slurry results in a large number of foam, which affects the power generation efficiency of the power plant. For this situation, the common solution is to add an appropriate amount of defoamer to prevent the problem of virtual high liquid level caused by foam.
2. Wastewater treatment defoaming
Organosilicon defoamers can be applied to various water-based foaming systems such as urban wastewater, industrial wastewater treatment, papermaking wastewater, chemical wastewater treatment, petrochemical industry, seawater desalination, textile printing and dyeing wastewater, mining water treatment, etc.
3. Oil extraction defoaming
In the process of oil drilling, the drilling fluid is prone to foaming, which can seriously cause a decrease in its density and lubrication performance, greatly affecting the efficiency of the mud pump and causing difficulties in the circulation system. Based on various factors such as drilling fluid type, mineralization degree, pH value, rheology, and foaming agent type, organosilicon defoamers have successfully solved the problems of repeated foaming and difficult defoaming in gas field drilling fluid, as well as high cost of defoaming agent use.
4. Mixing and defoaming of mortar
Defoamer in mortar can inhibit the formation of foam and destroy the formed foam. The mechanism of action is that the defoamer enters the liquid film, reduces the viscosity of the liquid, forms a new low surface viscosity interface, causes the liquid film to lose elasticity, accelerates the process of liquid leakage, and ultimately causes the liquid film to thin and rupture.
Usage of Silicone liquid defoamer
1. It can be added directly to the original solution or in batches.
2. According to different usage scenarios, the amount of defoamer added ranges from 0.1% to 1%, and the dosage may vary as needed.
3. Before officially using this product, some samples should be taken for a simple trial to prevent abnormal situations and adverse consequences.
Packaging and Storage
