Sodium dihydrogen phosphate, water treatment agent, agricultural fertilizer
Sodium dihydrogen phosphate, also known as acidic sodium phosphate, with the chemical formula NaH2PO4, is an inorganic acid salt that is soluble in water but almost insoluble in ethanol. Its appearance is colorless rhombic crystal with slight hygroscopicity. Easy to dissolve in water. At a certain pH value, it is produced by reacting sodium carbonate with phosphoric acid or by reacting disodium hydrogen phosphate with a certain proportion of phosphoric acid, which is prone to clumping in humid air.

Application of Sodium Dihydrogen Phosphate
1. It can be used to produce water softeners, weight enhancers for some textiles, and fire retardants.
2. When combined with some phosphates, it can be used as a water treatment agent, printing and dyeing detergent, dyeing aid, neutralizing agent, etc.
3. Sodium dihydrogen phosphate is also an important inorganic chemical raw material, widely used in agricultural production. Its main function is to improve soil fertility and promote crop growth. Especially for crops lacking phosphorus elements, sodium dihydrogen phosphate can play a good supplementary role.
Storage of Sodium Dihydrogen Phosphate
1. When storing sodium dihydrogen phosphate, it should be kept sealed to prevent it from being exposed to air, absorbing moisture, or deteriorating due to the decomposition of carbon dioxide.
2. During storage and transportation, it is important to avoid contact between sodium dihydrogen phosphate and alkali metals, soluble silver salts, nitrites, and other substances to prevent chemical reactions and spoilage.
3. Avoid direct sunlight, high temperatures, humidity, and mixing with odorous substances.
4. Do not consume or inhale sodium dihydrogen phosphate powder as it can cause irritation to the esophagus and respiratory tract.
