Application Area of Polyferric sulfate
Polyferric sulfate is easily soluble in water and widely used in drinking water, industrial circulating water, and purification treatment of wastewater in industries such as chemical, petroleum, mining, papermaking, printing and dyeing, brewing, steel, gas, etc. It can achieve ideal results for different types of water sources in different regions.
1. The treatment of printing and dyeing wastewater, replacing traditional low molecular weight iron and aluminum salts with coagulants, has the characteristics of large dosage, low coagulation efficiency, and residual aluminum ions that are prone to secondary pollution compared to traditional coagulants. The dosage of polymeric iron sulfate is about 150ppm, which is small and has a high removal rate for COD and chromaticity. The pH condition is 8.0.
2. Electroplating wastewater treatment can be used as a coagulant and a demulsifier. The main complex is copper ammonia complex, which has stable properties and a pH of 11. It is difficult to directly precipitate with coagulants such as alkali and polyaluminum. It can also be used for reclaimed water reuse.
3. Paper wastewater treatment can replace polyaluminum chloride, aluminum sulfate, etc. as coagulants and can also be used for dewatering paper sludge. In the white water recovery process of paper wastewater treatment, polymeric iron sulfate (polymer containing strong cations) cannot be used, only polyaluminum chloride can be used.
Product usage method of Polyferric Sulfate
1. Due to the different properties of the raw water, on-site debugging or beaker testing should be carried out according to different situations to obtain the best usage conditions and optimal dosage to achieve the best treatment effect.
2. Before use, put this product into a alum dissolution tank at a certain concentration (10-30%), inject tap water and stir to fully hydrolyze it, let it stand until it turns a reddish brown liquid, then dilute it with water to the desired concentration and add coagulation. Water plants can also add 2-5% directly, and industrial wastewater treatment can add 5-10% directly.
3. Determination of dosage: Based on the properties of the raw water, it can be determined through production debugging or beaker experiments depending on the appropriate amount of alum flower formation. The water treatment plant can use other original dosage as a reference. Under the same conditions, the dosage of this product is roughly equivalent to that of solid polyaluminum sulfate, which is 1/3-1/4 of the dosage of solid aluminum sulfate. If the original liquid product is used, it can be calculated and determined based on the corresponding drug concentration. Roughly determined by a weight ratio of 1:3.
4. When in use, pump the prepared medicine solution into the metering tank and mix it with the raw water through metering.
5. Generally, it is prepared on the same day and used on the same day. The dispensing requires tap water with slight sediment,It is a normal phenomenon.
Storage of Polyferric Sulfate
1. The polymerized iron sulfate can be stored according to the requirements of the oxidant. It shall not coexist with alkali, reducing agent, alcohol or flammable substances, and shall not be mixed for storage and transportation.
2. When storing, it should be stored in a cool, dry, well ventilated place, away from flames and heat sources. Meanwhile, suitable storage areas should be prepared to prevent leaks.
